losing my tiá have been a really huge impact on me. even at a young age. I still can’t let her go. I remember living with her in Colorado, playing with her in the backyard and watching movies with Tuxedo (her cat). knowing that she lived a beautiful, wonderful life? It gives me comfort, even closure. I miss texting her, calling her, even FaceTiming her to do our hair competition because our hair texture is similar. we used to go back and forth saying, “ yeah no mijá, I WON this time ”. “ nope tiá I WON ”. I miss that. Even when my grandmother and my other tiás be on the phone with her, I run to the phone and talk to her. Regardless if I’m the game, doing schoolwork, or something else, I would drop everything and talk to her. She helped me with everything and anything, even my Spanish II project because I couldn’t describe myself or couldn’t translate the question. she knew the exact words to say and helped me pronounce the words. But my tulip, my angel, I love you. Thank you for changing my life, making a bad thing into a good thing. You never judged me, even knowing everything, you never looked at me differently. you never lead me into the wrong direction. You wanted the good our of me. And I promise you, I’ll finish highschool with my head held high, knowing you’ll be looking over my shoulder. I love you tiá, I’ll see you later alligator.

This has been very tough for me to come on here and write how my titi Rosie impacted my life…she was one of the best aunts anyone could ask for, she knew and understood everything about me and never judged. She always was there when I needed talking off the ledge or words of encouragement. She told me countless times of how proud she was of me. She was the life of the party. I’m going to greatly miss the way she use to make me laugh, making my stomach hurt from laughing. I love you so much titi. You were so full of life and never let us see you down. You always, no matter what situation, had a smile on your face ! Your silliness will live on through us, Damien and Bella love you so much. Damien couldn’t wait to hear me talking to you, because he would love doing the fb filters with you. You made these kids laugh uncontrollably. This is the spirit you had in you, caring, loving, spiritual, funny, smart, joyful, hopeful, and always trying to put others before yourself. I love you so much and my heart is really in pain. You will always be with me and I can never thank you enough for being who you were. A great person from our family has gone to be with grandma and im ok with it, but it’s so hard to let you go. I miss you….

Rosemary loved all of us and we all loved her.
She was so kind & affectionate to our Brothers & Sisters in the Brooklyn Congregation and all
whom she crossed paths in life.
What was outstanding to me about Rose was her true humbleness.
During the Pandemic, Rose & Wade were ill and had to stay close to home.
I had the great privilege to celebrate Holy Communion with them.
What touched me deeply during our time of Celebration of Holy Communion- Rose always knelt down to pray the Lord’s Prayer!
Rose’s love for our Young People & Children was so Special.
She worked so kindly & loving with my daughter Sharon who has special needs and Rose taught her some basic essentials for her Life.
Rose greeted our members at the outside door with much warmth & love. She also loved our Seniors and assisted them in whatever may she could.
When I think of Apostle Paul, I think of Rose. Paul could say at the end of his life” I have fought a good fight & finished my course and henceforth, there is a
Crown of Righteousness laid up for me”. I strongly believe Rose will also receive a Crown of Righteousness.

My husband and I were talking the other night of my beautiful friend and we were laughing so much about one of the last times Rosie was at my house. We had the Bears game on and she was yelling and jumping around about how the game was going. She was so into it. She has us all yelling at the tv. Love her energy.
She loved her sports, football, basketball and hockey were her favorites. ❤️

If this picture doesn’t say exactly who Rosemary was, I don’t think anything will…her nieces love her so very much and enjoyed every minute they spend with her!
Just want to let you know that you were actually talking with Santa Clause.

To our special Rose always have had a warmth in our hearts for you and Wade. You were our support and love in our trying time and we are here for you. All is in the Lords hands and I am sure His arms are wide open and His gentle hands are holding you. Trust in Him. All our love. Uncle John and Aunt Joanne
Dear Rose,
We’re still praying often for you and Wade. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says God loves a cheerful giver, and a cheerful giver you are. You give warm hugs, smiles, kind and encouraging words, a listening ear, prayers, your time, clothing, and so much love! When we first moved here and didn’t know anyone, you and Wade welcomed us and invited me to your home. You were among my first friends here in NYC and I am grateful for you both. Your faith in God serves as an example for all, as well as your care for others, especially the youth and the elderly. We all love you.

Every time she would come to Chicago we would always spend nights together at Grandma Rosa’s. Nights I cherish
Dear Rosemary,
I remember when I saw you for the first time. You came with Socorro to a Wednesday night service. You were quiet and somewhat shy. However, you seemed to feel comfortable and eventually you became part of our family and we became part of your family.
Since then, you have been a special role model for all of us. You have gone through so much and always had a smile and no matter what you were facing, you were always “fantastic”, even in the most difficult of times. I know it is hard to have courage under suffering, but you have been such a trooper in all you had to deal with.
Sometimes we do not understand why God permits us to go through such things. I do not have the answer for that, but we know that He loves you and He is always with you. It has been said that for the things we do not understand we are permitted to believe and have faith. We have learned to trust God in all things. He has a special future prepared just for you.
Over the years we have learned much from you and how you dealt with the many challenges you have faced. Your faithful husband, Wade has always been at your side doing everything possible to support and help you in every way. God brought him into your life, and he has been a special blessing for you.
Our heavenly Father loves you both and He is also on the edge of His seat in Heaven. He will see you through this critical time. We hope we can see you again at home and among your family, but we also know that it is all in God’s hands, and we know there is no better place than in God’s hands.
Love from both of us,
Chuck Eley
Our Rosie and Wade are truly a blessing to us. I too remember her shyness that lasted less than 5 minutes. Since that very first day it has been so much laughter even during our hardest moments.
The strength I see is a vision to behold. I know it comes from faith and God.
Rosie, keep smiling and laughing my love.
